Global health advocate HIMSS will support the collective international effort for digital health maturity, interoperability and standards as a partner of MedInfo 2023, the Australasian Institute of Digital Health announced today.
AIDH CEO Dr Louise Schaper says HIMSS involvement is a great addition to the already globally significant congress.
“Having HIMSS involved at this level in MedInfo highlights both organisations’ desire for greater industry collaboration and aligning of our related work to better the healthcare sector and the digital health community,” Dr Schaper said.
“MedInfo’s theme is ‘The future is accessible’ and HIMSS representatives will address making health accessible for all by building digital health capability and breaking down health data silos.
“HIMSS is delighted to be a Partner of MedInfo 2023,” said Simon Lin, HIMSS Asia-Pacific vice president and executive director. “We are seeing a global desire from health systems to leverage the progress made, and lessons from the pandemic, to connect better as a health ecosystem and personalise it to the individual patient.
“The lessons and conversations to be had will be inspiring and we look forward to providing our thought leadership at the event.”
